1. In my opinion , the increased utilization of health care is related to physicians providing unnecessary care to maintain their income in a competitive environment . It's just wasting the resources for gaining profit . There is no need of increasing the number of physicians until there is shortage of physicians . Increased number of physicians for utilising the healthcare services will increase the amount to be paid to the physicians and affect the revenue of the Organization.

2. There has being an immense advancement in the field of hospitalization such as EHR , Robotic surgeries etc . The move from inpatient to outpatient care is also one of the advancements. It is solely dependent on cost and new technological advancements . There are risk everywhere ,in everything we do . It does not depend on whether the patient is treated as inpatient or outpatient . Yes , there are risks to care provided in the ambulatory settings for example - unable to reach on time causes delay in the action to be taken for management , no provision of facilities as available in inpatient settings etc

3. Yes, the ownership structure or profit motive of an ambulatory care facility have bearing on the quality of its services because corruptive actions which are done with the motive of profit or gain does not work successfully . In the same way when the owners of the Organization functions with the aim of gaining profit they will try to provide services which are not worthy and use low quality resources , and insufficient funds to gain money . Hence ,the quality of services are very poor and pathetic .
