Fluid ordered = 1000ml D5W

Time = 12 hours

Drop factor = 15 gtt

Flow rate= Volume(ml)/ Time (min)X Drop factor gtt /ml

Convert 12 hours to minutes

12 X 60 = 720

Flow Rate

=1000ml/720 min X 15

= 20.83

= 21 drops/ min
