Amino acids are organic compounds and produces the protein the body need. Amino acids are mainly made up of carbon , hydrogen, nitrogen and oxygen. It is the second largest compond found in muscles and tissues , acts on neurotransmitter transport and biosynthesis as well. There are three types of amino acids.

  • Essential ( 8 amino acids, cannot be produced by body so need to supply externally)
  • Semi essential (2, need to be consumed in certain conditions)
  • Non essential (10, body can produce by themselves)
