ANSWER :
EUTHANASIA : Euthanasia is called as Mercy killing. In most of the countries this practice is not encouraged due to controversies. It is the act where terminally ill patients are induced to death by doctors. Euthanasia is having two types 1. Active euthanasia - providing death to a person by administering of drugs, 2. Passive euthanasia - holding the life of patient for prolonging of treatment to save the life of person. Each and every person is having right to live and die. In such circumstances where the patient requests the doctor to relieve him from this life from pain and sufferings, then the doctor will go into a state of dilemma because killing of a live person is not encouraged in the medical profession. In such cases family consent is needed or in some cases individual decisions will be accepted in keeping mind of the present situation of patient. Euthanasia is performed by the qualified doctors who is a resident of Oregon, the patient should be above 18 years of age, patient should go for 2 oral and 1 written form for euthanasia, Most of the people believe euthanasia is not a good thing and they will oppose it, but euthanasia is a good death where merciful death to patient from sufferings and pain is given in health care.
