different types of codes are required if a procedure is canceled versus converted to an open procedure or ended before it was finished as they help hospitals to report and be paid for expenses incurred.

If a procedure is cancelled the code will help hospital get the money against the preparations made to carry out procedure.

The codes are important to support the resources being reported and to document the reason for cancellation of the service. This help hospital to bill the payments easily.

Different codes provide information about why the procedure was cancelled, terminated or completed. It gives the reason for cancellation, termination or incompletion of procedure. These documents will help in correct billing, deciding what should be charged from patient or what claims can be made through medicare.
