There are many people out in the world that doubts evolution and doesn't believe in evolution. However, evolution has happened / happening right now. One example of evolution is through our skin pigment. Why are there different variations of skin color around the world? Its because people in certain areas have to evolve in order to live in hotter climate or colder climate. Even though we need to the sun to live, too much sun can be damaging to our skin. The UV light rays from the sun can help or damage our bodies. During the early human era they had to go around to different areas to find food, water and resources to live. In the areas they may have been searching in could have been clear and would be easy for the sun rays to penetrate in the skin. People that stayed in places closer to the equator or on the equator is exposed to extreme UV rays therefore they evolve to have darker skin. People that has darker skin pigment is protected from the UV rays but it still allows some UV rays to be absorbed by the skin in order to produce vitamin d which is good for our bones. This can also be an example of survival of the fittest, natural selection. People with lighter skin that don't have the protection they need for the skin suffer from skin damage or skin cancer therefore they move into colder areas with lower levels of UV lights.

Evolution is the need of the survival. The example is of adaptation of the skin colour as people living in hot and humid climate have more melanin and darker skin as compared to the people living in the cooler region. People living near the equator have more effects of sunrays hand hence have darker skin whereas people living in the north or south pole have fairer skin.

Evolution is necessary to fit in the environment and to cope up to with the situation.
