• Physician and the patient relationship is a fiduciary ethical relationship.
• Through this relationship, the physician accepts the person as her patient and patient are willing to seek the physician.
• Local medical Board determines the rules to maintain the physician-patient relationship.
• It increases the trust and confidence between the physician and patient.
• The physician provides a standard of care under obligation.
• The affirmative act exists the legal duty of the physician to examine, diagnose, and to treat the patient accordingly.
• Once the legal contract established, then the physician continues the relationship and provides treatment to the patient until termination.
• The physician and patient relationship can be terminated only in the case of no longer of treatment, dismissal of the physician, negligence of a physician, seeking of alternative care.
