Do you think that there has to be a conflict between doing our moral duty and doing what's in our own self-interest? Answer this question with reference to either the issue of caring for animals or the environment.

ANSWER :

There is the presence of conflict between moral duties performing and own interests. Sometimes when we want to do our moral duties, then for the sake of others or due to our other priorities our self interest is going be to altered or limited. This conflict focuses on the good and bad philosophy. For example : seeing a street dog suffering in pain due to road accident we want to tank that dog to our home as a symbol of self interest, but due to the family cultures and traditions for not bringing the dogs to the homes indicates the moral conflict in doing of good or bad.
