ANSWERS :

1. EMPACHO : Empacho is defined as one of the form of stomach upset which is usually caused by stuck of undigested food in the stomach walls and intestines which occurs due to the obstruction in the stomach.

2. Empacho can be handled by administration of antacids to relieve burning sensation and pain which is caused by indigestion of food. The other home remedies used for this problem are drinking of fennel tea, chewing of fennel seeds after completion of the meals can reduce the problems of indigestion in the patient.

3. While asking the information to the patient as part of pain assessment the following questions to be asked to the patient - How many days patient is suffering with pain? What are the dietary habits of the patient? Which side of the stomach region pain is present? What is the duration of pain? Which score the patient will give for the pain he is experiencing? How is the intensity of pain present?
