1a)..bean 52 years age is admitted for elective Cholecystectomy.the common bile duct is the passage where the bile goes from liver to gall bladder.if the common bile duct is obstructed by a gallstone then the procedure that is to be performed is ERCP that is endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography.by this small stones are removed from the passage.

B).the nurse should give preoperative teaching to the client.she should give idea about the surgery and the duration of surgery and the possible side effects.she should psychological support to the patient berofe surgery.she should give proper information about the followup care after surgery.
