ANS)

Making sure that baby Rosa is exclusively breastfed for the first six months because this is the recommended, optimal practice.

-- Breastfeeding a child is the personal decision of a mother. But many medical research centers like the APP(American Academy of Pediatrics) and the American Collage of Obstetrician and Gynecologists are strictly recommending that the mother should breastfeed their child for 6 months. And this 6 months of feeding is unavoidable but if they can breastfeed their baby for around 1 year with some other foods like fruits, grains, proteins and vegetables, then it will be best for their child's health.

-- In the first few days after the birth of the child the mothers milk is called colostrum, which will be thick and will be in yellow color and which contain a large amount of nutrients. The colostrum also develop the infants digestive tract and helps to prepare itself for the digestion of breast milk.

-- The breastfeed milk provides the infant an adequate amount of nutrition. This breast milk is a combination of protein, vitamin and fat, these are the important things that your infants should get for their good growth. And which is more easily digestible than the infant formula.

-- The breast milk contain many kinds of antibodies which helps your child for fighting against disease causing viruses and bacteria. It also decrease the chance of asthma and allergies and the children who got the breast milk for 6 months will be mostly free of respiratory diseases, ear infections and bouts of diarrhea.

-- Some studies has proved that the children's who had consumed the breast milk will be having higher IQ power. And the breast milk will provide the child a correct amount of weight as they grow and which reduces the overweight in children's.And some foreign studies said that the breastfeeding prevents the sudden infant death syndrome. The breastfeeding feeding also reduces the chance of obesity and diabetes.

-- The breastfeeding helps to burn the extra calories in the mother's body and because of that it reduces the pregnancy weight in the mother's body very faster. And the release of the oxytocin helps the mother to bring their uterus to the pre-pregnancy size and prevent the uterine bleeding after birth of the child. The breast feeding also reduces the ovarian cancer and also reduces the chance of osteoporosis

-- So by using the above informations we can say that an infant should get the breastfeeding at least for 6 months.
