Healthy life is the rights of every individual. People may suffer from illness and certainly recovers from it with appropriate measures and in some extent getting medically treated.But when an organ fails to do its normal functions it is termed to be organ failure.If the patient is too old family members tries to give them the best care till end of life ,the controversy comes when the patient is a children or a young adult. Organ donation has played a vital role here by helping and giving hope for the survival rate in these types of patients.

All can be a donor,but not all donor can match their close relatives who are patients.In certain cases the organ donated may be of no use if not used to the right recipient or due to any technical of transportation problem. Here the donor are screened,tested,analysed for matching with the recipient tissues ,biological components, etc., then they are allotted.The incompatibility makes the situation to allocated only limited organ donors.

The National Organ Transplant Act in United States under Department of Health and Human service decides who has to get the organ as per the protocol. The Department of Transplantation finally is responsible federally for allocating the organs.This allocation is purely on the basis of medical criteria, severity of illness,waiting period,tissue matching, blood components matching etc.,

It doesn't allocate organs on the basis of name,gender, race, financial grounds,affordability. Doing so is considered to be illegal and offensive putting the really needed patients under high risk and cost their precious life.

In most of the countries payment for organs are illegal. It also raises an ethical concern for the donor to get some financial help or get free funeral services .It is major controversy for payment of living donors, if granted legally then there are high chances of misusing, hacks and organ theft ,monetary gains for private health-care organizations or the the health care team

Sale of the organ or parts which are regenerative in the body like hair ,semen,blood and its components for financial benefits are legal in US.This cannot harm a donor rather the rejection rate is lesser in recipient.It can be used for remedy for the couples who have difficulty in making a family.It can be used for the purposes of research and newer innovations and invention in the medical field.

All this makes this topic of great interest to dig and learn. This also has a bright professional growth and career in the near future.The plan of developing this paper is to gain adequate knowledge and be aware of the current and future trends of organ donation.
