Answer #1

Part C of Medicare provides managed care. The main purpose of Medicare Part C is to reduce the financial strain on Medicare funds by providing access to a variety of new health options to beneficiaries and thus incentivizing beneficiaries to join private health care plans as an alternative to the fee-for-service Medicare program.

It encourage Medicare beneficiaries to choose private health care plans as alternatives to the traditional fee-for service Medicare program

A Special Needs Plan (SNP) is intended for individuals who are insured under Medicare and Medicaid . Each Medicare Part C plan is different, so premiums vary as a result.
