If I had the opportunity to make a request to our senator for change in our current healthcare system, it will be changing our system from multiplayer i.e. the payment is made through government insurance, the Medicare and Medicaid, employer or by out of pocket to the universal coverage system such as that in countries like Canada and UK. This will reduce the cost of healthcare and make it more efficient as the biggest issue with the healthcare of the USA is its cost, which is higher than most developed countries (CMS, 2018).
