  • To attempt to understand why genocide is perpetrated. To explore why genocide has occured can elucidate the conditions of economy, political groups and social customs which could have contributed to the polarisation of different groups within a region.
  • Also initiate understanding of personal responsibility and the dangers of remaining silent.
