Thesis Statement

New nurses face countless challenges trying to stand on their own. Investigating this problem is very crucial to help produce and maintain new nurses that are competent and can give the best care to patients.

I believe the biggest challenges new nurses face is finding their niche in the nursing community. Learning the difference between nursing school world and the real world. Acknowledging that just because nursing school ends learning doesn't. Accepting that people have different ways of doing things and that it is beneficial to learn these ways so you can find what works best for you. Understanding your every move will be scrutinized until your fellow nurses and doctors feel comfortable that you got it.

Being a new nurse is challenging, exciting and scary. It is a huge learning experience. It is a very rewarding feeling.
