ANSWER :

In the health care organizations to compare and evaluate the health care quality certain measures are used. They are classified as - structure, process and outcome measures.

* Structure measures are those which provides the consumers high quality care along with health care systems and capacity. For Example : In a hospital for the total number of patients how many health care providers are allotted so as to measure the effectiveness of health care services to the patients and quality of care received by them.

* Process measures is the one where it focus on the health care provider what he/she is doing to improve the health of the people suffering with disease conditions and along with the healthy people. For Example : Percentage of people who are receiving the preventive methods and services to prevent from disease conditions

* Outcome measures are those which affects the health care services on the patients health care services. For Example : Due to the specific surgery how many patients has died in that specific year. It calculates the mortality and morbidity rates.
