The LGBT youth is considered as a vulnerable population in the case of suicide. The rate of suicide is 1.5 to 3 times higher than compared with the heterosexual group. The solution for this can be making the youth aware of the problem, educate regarding the health hazards of suicide, and most comorbid condition associated with suicide is depression, it has to be treated and early intervention with the mental health professionals were necessary.
The population were rarely getting adequate support from the family, difficulty in finding the job and maintaining the same were the main issues related with the depression and suicide. So, the person belongs to the LGBT community has to be empowered enough to find out any job and adequate support from the community. Most of the time the person with these kinds of problems may not seek help from the professionals so, there will be adequate ground level workers in the community to help them.
