Negative acts or bullying is a way of troubling others repeatedly which can give a pessimistic result, damage or loss to an individual and lead to poor performance in workplace and depressed or mentally disturbed to how to tackle the situation.

Bullying in the workplace can negatively effect on organizations and as well as an individual (Ex: productivity declines, turnover escalate and the managerial costs was increased). Nurse bullying is also costly for healthcare employers, such as productivity expectations or cost containment can also put pressure on nurses and other healthcare personnel. These cases become exponentially worse when a potential lawsuit. According to the John Murray article (MedSurg Nursing) workplace bullying can cost over $4 billion yearly.
Strategies for successful resolution of workplace conflicts:
Compromising: In this strategy both the individual and group in conflict tries to resolve it by trying to cooperate with each-other to partially satisfy both the parties.
Collaborating/ Problem solving: In contrast to compromising where each side looses something, here the conflicts is resolved by addressing the wants and needs of both the parties and hence are fully satisfied.
