62. Soma (Carisoprodol)

Classification: Carbamate

Indication for use: acute musculoskeletal pain

Normal dosage: 250 - 350 mg three times a day and the maximum administering duration is 2 - 3 weeks as the drug is under controlled substance act Schedule IV

Route of administration: Oral

Side effects: Headache, drowsiness, dizziness

Indication for use: Benign prostatic hypertension, erectile dysfunction

64. Valtrex (Valacyclovir hydrochloride)

Classification: Antiviral/ Opportunistic Infections and Coinfections

Indication for use: Herpes zoster, Genital herpes, cold sores

Side effects: Headache, dizziness, nausea, stomach pain, confusion, hallucinations, difficulty in speaking
