66. Phenergan (Promethazine)

Classification: Antihistamine, antiemetics

Indication for use: Allergies, motion sickness, nausea, vomiting, pre and post-operative procedures

Normal dosage: 12.5 - 50 mg

Route of administration: Oral, rectal, intravenous, intramuscular

Side effects: Confusion, sedation, blurred vision, euphoria, dry mouth, photosensitivity, urinary retention, tachycardia, bradycardia

67. Zofran (Ondansetron hydrochloride)

Classification: Serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonists

Indication for use: Nausea and vomiting caused in cancer chemotherapy, postoperative nausea and vomiting

Normal dosage: 8 - 24 mg

Route of administration: Oral

Side effects: Headache, constipation, malaise, diarrhoea

68. Vibramycin (Doxycycline calcium)

Classification: Tetracycline antibiotics (antibacterial drug)
