Answer #1

Solution:

Step 1:

Calculate the rate of fluid for weight

For 1kg = 40mL/day

For 19 kg = 40 X 19 = 760mL/day.

Step 2:

Calculate the amount of fluid for 10hours

Per day = 760mL

Which means 760mL for 24 hours.

For one hour = 760 / 24

= 31.6mL/hr.

For 10 hours = 31.6 X 10

= 316mL for 10 hours.

The dog receives 316mL of fluid for 10 hours.
