1. Many insurance companies cover physical health but do not cover mental health services. But the Affordable Care Act enforces that the health insurance must cover the mental health services and substance abuse disorder services. Under this law, mental health services to be provided equally to physical health services. Medicaid must also cover these services and to provide a health benefit for the members. Medicare Part A and Part B must also cover mental health services and Part D should cover the prescription drugs of mental health condition. But still, many insurance providers do not cover a pre-existing condition. The PSychologist also covers 50% of the copay and increased out of pocket expenses compared to medical coverage. It also had premiums compared to medical insurance plans.
