Description: Examination of the specimen reveals an intact segment
of endocervical tissue composed of loose fibromyxomatous stroma
with fragments of mucus-secreting glands. Several pedunculated
outgrowths of columnar epithelial tissue are present, varying from
2-3 cm in length. The neoplasms are bright red, soft, and fragile;
they do not evidence malignant changes.
