Infection prevention refers to complete secured manner where infection is not possible (Vaccination is a preventive measure against diseases )

Infection control refers to inhibition or stopping for limited period from growth and multiplication of microorganisms causing infection. (Handwashing is an infection control practice)

The World Health and Safety legislation are responsible for providing a safe work environment to all people who are directly involved in the work and those related or present in the surrounding of the work place to prevent infection or diseases related to it.The infection prevention and control is in compliance with the rules and regulations,standards ,policies and following the procedure so that they don't cause any harm to either the workers orublic intentionally or unintentionally.
