Neutropenia refers to low level of neutrophils. It is a type of white blood cell responsible to kill bacteria and fungi.

The effects of chemotherapy induced neutropenia on quality of life are

  • High and easily prone for infection
  • Patient always experience a fatigue
  • It reduces the patients daily activity level
  • The patient may experience pain,fever with chills ,sores,loose stools which may cease the patient from being active and detorating their health
  • They are physically and psychologically disturbed
  • There activity in society are greatly reduced due to the condition
  • Their spiritual belief makes them to think sceptical
