Answer #1

Ans) Codes for both etiology and manifestation of a disease appear following the subentry term, with the second code in brackets.

- Assign both codes in the same sequence in which they appear in the Alphabetic Index.

- Tabular list: A chronological list of ICD-10-CM codes divided into chapters based on body system or condition. It is essential to use both the Alphabetic Index and Tabular List when locating and assigning a code. The Alphabetic Index does not always provide the full code.

- Coding standards are a set of guidelines, best practices, programming styles and conventions that developers adhere to when writing source code for a project.

- They're used to reading code a certain way (their own way) and get irritated when they see the code in a different format.
