Enzymes are not Found in most tissues because of its large size, they have a short lag time compared to others. Not all enzymes are excreted in urine,the organs like stomach,intestine ,liver plays a key role .It has a short elimination time of less than a minute.In diagnostic purposes it has to under go a purification process

Alkaline phosphatase are released in hepatobilary disease and in pancreatic tumour

Increase in creatinine phosphokinase indicates muscle or tissue injury

Lactic acid dehydrogenase increase when there is an injury to heart,brain,liver disease,cancer,anaemia
