ISCHEMIC STROKE: is characterised by the sudden loss of blood circulation to an area of the brain, resulting in a corresponding loss of neurologic function.

clinical manifestations'::

MUSCULAR: difficulty walking, muscle weekness, problems with co ordination or weekness of one side of body.

SPEECH: impaired voice or slurred speech.

VISUAL: blurred vision or vision loss.

FACIAL: muscle weekness or numbness

DIFFICULTY SWALLOWING, MENTAL CONFUSION AND REDUCED SENSATION OF TOUCH IS ALSO COMMON.

THROMBOTIC STROKE: When a blood vessel in the brain ruptures or breaks, splling blood inti the surrounding tissues is called thrombotic stroke.

clinical manifestations: headache , dizziness, confusion

EMBOLIC STROKE: is caused by a clot that travels from somewhere else in the body, usually from the heart.

symptoms differ depending on which part of the brain is affected:

common symptoms include: difficulty speaking, trouble walking, numbness in the limbs or either side of face, temporary paralysis.
