Research Problem : An experimental study to assess the effect of homemade dates milk shake in the hemoglobin of antenatal anemia mothers in a xyz tertiary care hospital

P:population All antenatal mothers in first and second trimester of pregnancy with a hemoglobin of less than 7 g/dl

I :Intervention Home made dates milk shake or formula is part of their diet two times a day

C:Total sample size 60 with 30 as control group and 30 as placebo group so the other 30 was given only milk shake without dates

O:The formula should increase the hemoglobin by 2 g/dl at the end of 30 days use

T :The mothers will be checked for hemoglobin at the start of the therapy and post one month of completion of the therapy .

2.Anemia is a biggest problem is antenatal mothers it is because of lack of antenatal care for mother and child anemic mothers increases the risk of IUGR babies ,preterm delivery ,and helping a mother in adjusting the diet is a nursing issue so to prevent maternal mortality and morbidity the problem is chosen

3. The research design is quantitative research as the outcome is a measurable parameter .the mothers will be observed for one month post 30 days of therapy and hemoglobin levels will be checked .total intervention period is 30 days and recheck of the hemoglobin will be done after one month of completion of therapy
