1. An inquest is an investigation held by a public official, such as a coroner, to determine the cause of death.

2. The coroner is a public officer who holds an investigation is a person's death is from an unknown or violent cause.

4. The Food and Drug Administration, an agency within the Department of Health and Human Resources, ultimately enforces drug prescription (and over the counter) sales and distribution.

6. The Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs of the Department of Justice control drugs by enforcing the law. Only those persons with a registration number issued by this agency may legally issue a prescription of narcotics.
