OSHA is an american agency which is responsible for protecting worker health and safety in the United States.

By Reading Occupational Safety and Health Standards; PART No. 1910 : Standard Number 1910.133 on the OSHA website here is the conclusion. Above stated Personal Eye Protection Regulations illustrates that the Affected Employee should always use proper or appropriate protection such as clip-on or slide-on side shields when ever they are exposed to the eye hazards from liquid metals, acids, chemical gases or vapors, molten metal or flying particles in case to avoid the further damage to their eyes. Protective eye devices that the employer demonstrates are at least as effective as protective eye and are constructed in accordance with all standards and deemed to be in compliance with the requirements.  The employer shall ensures that affected employee is taking preventive measures and being cautious about himself or herself also employer must ensures that affected employee uses equipment with filter lenses that have a shade number appropriate for the work being performed for protection from injurious light radiation, for each different processes or operations appropriate shade numbers are being listed in OSHA regulation 1910.133(a)(5).  

Overall, its the great initiative and regulations those been made with keeping safety of employees in the mind and prior to any other accountability, other country's should also learn and take a similar type of step for their workers or employees.
