Purkinje fibers are the complex networks of fibers. The main function of the Purkinje fibers in the heart is to receive the heart's conductive signals which are generated from the atrioventricular node i.e. AV node, then concurrently activating the left and right ventricles by direct and sudden stimulation of the ventricular myocardium. This facilitate the signal conduction like the electric movement.
