In symbiotic relationships, both organism benefit each other.

Termites are able to digest wood, it is due to the protist trychonympha present in their intestine. Trichonympha secret the enzyme which convert convert cellulose in wood into dimpler products starches and sugars . Latrr these products are used by termite as nutrients. In exchange, these termites get continuous supply of food and a suitable environment to live.
