Changes in diet, exercise and stress can help reduce elevated blood pressure, but there are many who also need to be on anti-hypertensive medication. If you are in charge of a public health program on hypertension, what types of discussion would you include?

Answer: Hypertension can be controlled or managed by proper lifestyle and exercise. It is necessary to create awareness among people regarding the indulgence of exercise or the physical activity. It has been found that 35 minutes walking or exercise can maintain the blood pressure as well as managed blood glucose levels.

People should know that it is better to take precautions because although medication can controlled high blood pressure but to save ourselves from this medication it is necessary to adopt healthy lifestyle. Reduce the smoking as well as alcohol consumption. Intake of caffeinated beverage should be reduce, hence the high blood pressure can be managed.
