Headline is a the phrase or sentence that attracts the readers' attention to a particular product or service. Headlines must grab attention quick and hold on to it.The headline is the first thing your reader sees that tells them what the content is about. If it sounds interesting, informative and relevant, then they will likely click on the link and read the content.A headline in advertising grabs a reader's attention much like a newspaper's headline. An advertising headline is designed to be the first copy the potential customer reads, and it is usually written by a copywriter but can also be crafted by a copywriter/art director team, or anyone in the creative department. A headline has to be eye catchy, informative, contain some element of surprise, induce curiosity. It should be persuasive and should induce reader to read full ad and even go further to buy the product.Intriguing headline psychologically attracts the customer to the product or article and induces him to buy that product or read that article.

Attractive models is another tactics used by marketers to boost sales.A considerable amount of social science research suggests an individual's initial perception of and reaction to another individual are affected by the physical attractiveness of the other person. A highly attractive male or female model draws the attention of people to the product. This is particularly very useful in marketing cosmetic products like fairness creams, hair shampoos, shaving gels etc.Half the battle is to get customers to look at the ad to begin with. That's what the model does.But this may not work in products not related to beauty.For example ads showing mother or father relationship with kids should focus more on strong content instead of attractive faces.This may include a mother looking for nutritious food choices for her kids.
