ANSWER 1.

Benchmarking is a standard tool which is used to measure the quality of care or the services provided to the client, it is also a method which uses comparison between the care providers that at which scale their work is falling when it is being compared with the same area of the care providers.

this competition is not only held to create comparison but it also motivates health care providers to provide the best quality care in their assigned fields and areas, it brings a standard tool for the health care providers to asses themselves where they stand and where they are lacking.

benchmarks allow performing in such a way where the full quality of work could be achieved, this competition is done not only in a particular institution with the common work environment but it is done worldwide with the help of the standard authorized body.

for example, the nurses who work in a particular area all over the world are being compared with the quality of care they are providing to the patients and where they are lacking and how it can be improved,

the sources that can be used for benchmarks are data collection from all over the world or a country and it is compared with the common standard tool, also there are various internet sources available from where data can be collected and compared to check the quality of services provided by health care staffs.
