Infusion rate:125ml/hr

Time:8 hour

Drop factor :15gtt /ml

Flow rate=Total volume ×Drop factor÷Time×60

=1000×15÷8×60

=31.25 or 31 gtt /min

The nurse has to set the flow rate at 31 gtt/min
