1:1.beta blockers:

Indications:arrythimias,mayocardial infarction,hypertension,heart failure,angina,Glaucoma,anxiety disorder,marfan syndrome.

Contraindications:low pulse rate,astma,atrio ventricular block,peripheral vascular disease.

Side effects:difficulty in breathing,diarrhoea,bradycardia,hallucination,hair loss,low b.p,fatigue etc.

Precautions::

Tell doctor about astma or taking any anti hypertensive,anti depressents,insulin etc to prevent further complications.

2.ARBS:

Indications:

High b.p,diabetic neuropathy,CHF,kidney failure.

Contraindication:pregnancy

Side effects:

Headache,hyperkalemia,lethargy,hypotension,fever,sinusittis,bronchittis,hyperglycemia

3.InDICATIONS OF NITRATES:Angina pectoris,heart attack ,hypertension.

Contraindications;anemia,increased ICP,shock,hypersensitivity,

Side effects:headache,fatigue,nausea,hypotension,burning sensation under tongue

4.ACEI

indications::CAD,hypertension,MI,diabetes,migraine.

Contra indications:allergy ,pregnancy,renal artery stenosis,

Side effects:hyperkalemia,lethargy,headache,cough,absense of taste.

2.Bethanechol

Indications:it is used to treat functional urinary retention after postoperative and post partum period.

Contraindication:astma,GI ulcers,obstructed intestine, and hyperthyroidism.

Side effects:headache, lethargic,giddiness,stomach ache,nausea and vomitting,loose stool.

3.Benzodiazepins

Indications:anxiety disorders,seizure ,agitation ,neuralgia etc.

Contra indication:respiratory disease,sleep apnoea

Side efdecets:low b.p,abnormal heart rate,blurred vision,respiratory distress.

4.Lithium

Indications:psychological disorders such as Manic disorder,bipolar disorder

Contraindication:diabetes insipidus,dehydration,hyponatremia,septicemia,hypothyroidism.

Side effects:drowsiness,tremors in upper extrimities,nausea,vomitting,anorexia,blurred vision,abdominal ache .
