Technology and informatics are growing well-versed in the health care setting. Almost all the organizations have implemented the Electronic Health Record. Nurses have to work with EHR every day. This may simplify the nurses' work and saves time but it also increases the ethical issues in their day to day work. Nurses have to work with ethical concerns to face challenges and to avoid issues. The most common ethical concern that deals with nursing informatics are the protection of patient health information. Access to patient health information in the system most frequently and close them by using passwords to avoid misuse. Another ethical concern is the ability to enter patient databases and share them in the most appropriate situation. Ongoing evaluation of the system and continuous training is essential for the effective use of the information system. Nurses also concern about the minimizing of errors in entering patient's data and avoid false information. Nurses focus on the legal concern of State law and rights associated with health informatics. i.e prohibiting of unauthorized use of code and passwords.
