What factors may have a potential for improvement in U.S. infant mortality rates ?
Environmental and social factors have influenze of infant death rate in u.s.Moreover,preterm delivery, infections, maternal complications, foetal asphyxia ,leads to increase in infant mortality rate .so,measures should be taken to prevent such problems. Thus, mother should be monitore for any infection or complication from first month onwards.follow up should be done in every month .so that she can start medications to tackle complications during pregnancy.for instance if the mothers blood presure is high during pregnancy ,anti hypertensive can be started to prevent pre eclampsia during deluvery to great extent.because,it is one of reasons for infant death.

24. You appraise a correlational study examining chocolate consumption and infant mortality rates. Results indicate that as chocolate consumption increases, infant mortality also increases. You can safely conclude that: a. chocolate consumption causes infant mortality b. infant mortality causes chocolate consumption c. pregnant woman should be advised to avoid chocolate d. further research is needed before this could be applied in practice 25.
