Answer #1

The non-steroid anti-inflammatory drugs like naproxen are used o treat the symptoms like pain and inflammation immediately whereas the disease-modifying anti rheumatoid drug takes time to reduce the pain and inflammation but helps to prevent further damage to the joints. The option " Both are used to treat inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, but the NSAID is used to treat pain while the DMARD is used to prevent deformity", is the correct answer.
