As an authoritative parents one must not criticise or frighten the child for finger painting on wall. They should be encouraged and the child should be given a positive reinforcements .This helps in good fine motor development. This can trigger their sense of touch, vision ,smell, cognitive development, emotional well ,a sense of joy upon seeing different colours.A parent or teacher if understands this concept they will always provide support, accept and encourage the child .
