Some essential supplies in hospitals:

Drugs,personal protective equipment (gloves,mask,gown),dressing materials(cotton,gauge,roll pads) ,syringe,needle,IV tubes and catheters etc.

These are the most essential and basic hospital supplies.

Short supply:Short supply means the amount of the supplies are insufficient or in a lack than needed amount.
