MSN -prepared nurse is a nurse with masters in nursing ,which is an advanced level of postgraduate degree . Their key roles and responsibilities is to provide advanced patient care , policy formulation , be a leader , administration etc .

The scenario is that the newly implemented EHR is not being used full flegly by all the clinical staffs . And being a Nursing Informatics Specialist it is the duty of the MSN to workout on this . EHR is the electronic health record which was initiated for the digital functioning of the healthcare practices . It would help the healthcare organization to work more efficiently by giving more stress to patient care than on paper work . A recommended change that could resolve the situation is proving knowledge about EHR and it's functionality , making them aware of the advantages of using EHR , providing a staff friendly EHR system . When the health care staff get to know about its smooth functioning , and benefits they will use the staff friendly system and help in the upgradation of the organisation .
