The most common chronic disease issues in the US are heart disease, cancer, Alzheimer's disease, chronic lung disease, stroke, diabetes, and chronic kidney disease.
The burden of chronic disease increased worldwide. It includes cardiovascular disease, obesity, diabetes, cancer, osteoporosis, and dental disease. It is the same as US chronic disease issues that affect the population. Almost 79% of deaths occur due to chronic disease in developing countries.
Top five internationally affecting chronic disease are cardiovascular disease, stroke, diabetes, osteoporosis, and cancer.
It affects poorer population groups with low-income in richer countries. Other causes include poor nutrition, physical inactivity, tobacco, alcohol consumption people, overweight people, aging and sex factors get affected easily. Biological factors include hyperinsulinemia, obesity, dyslipidemia, hypertension, socioeconomic and cultural factors, multiracial, non-hispanic woman, non-adhrence to medication are more prone to chronic disease...
There is poor access to treatment due to low income and poor insurance coverage. medical costs increase due to modern medicne and technology improvement on preventive and mitigacy policies. It can be prevented by reducing cost and increasing health insurance coverage, health care plans, incentives for health care providers on preventive measures, providing evidence-based quality care, and support from governmental, non-governmental organization health providers, policymakers, society for the best outcome and timely effect to address from chronic disease.
