Resistance is a common barrier to EBP change. Lack of education is also a major issue. What types of resources do you currently have in your facility and what additional support such as educators or mentors who are familiar with research and EBP to help support future EBP change?

Types of resources we have in our facility to follow the evidence-based practice by following organization policies, standards, and guidelines, communication with stakeholders like patients, families, and staff to implement evidence-based practice. We use skills and knowledge for the clinical decisions to implement the practice. We investigate the procedures, interventions, and variations for EBPs and it improved decision making in health care.
  Translation of science provides guiding strategies to adopt EBPs. It should include EBP guidelines, evidence users, social system and communication. Translating research into practice interventions can promote the adoption of evidence-based practice. As an educator multidisciplinary team collaboration, leadership support can promote EBP and improve shared knowledge among staff. Senior leaders should create mission, vision, strategic plan in EBP within the organization. As an educator, they must be sure about EBP change of process and they must encourage the peers towards the changes. Traditional methods of care on new practice translating science on research into practice, it helps to implement the intervention towards EBP.
