Katherine should handle the situation with maturity than taking sudden decision like termination of the other employee etc. Firstly she should have a conversation with the other employee regarding the same and assess what she says ,then check the CCTV cameras for proof and also ask other staff whether they saw her taking the drugs from the cabinet and check for cabinet drug counts . Then if it comes to be true , it should be reported to the higher authority and actions should be taken according to the rules of the organisation . If it comes to be false ,then action must be taken against the other employee for Tort . As the other employee has tried to hurt the reputation of the other employee due to various reasons .
