Answer #1

Neisseria Gonorrhea causes the sexually transmitted disease. It is a gram-negative diplococci that causes disease in both men and women. It enters into the male genital organ through sexual contact and initiates the onset of symptoms after five to seven days. It develops the symptoms of frequent urination, swelling, and pain in the urethra, discharge in the penis. gonorrhea affects the host non-ciliated cells of the penis. This undergoes endocytosis process and the cells are replicated in large numbers which cause urethritis and inflammation of the penis. At this stage, they are resistant to antibiotics. The infected host responds to the infection by increasing the antigen capability. These alter the opa protein on the surface of the cells which inactivate lymphocytes. The absence of complementary receptor 3 in the male tract inhibit the inflammatory responses and prolonged inflammation get into testicles and prostate.
