Describe the concept of continuity planning. If you were the director or manager for your current workplace, describe the preparedness program you would recommend.
Continuity planning provides critical service or products for
the clients instead of focusing on critical operations recovering
after a disaster occurs. The continuity plan ensures critical
operations to be continued.
A manager has to be prepared quickly and safely for the
preparedness program. we have to focus on organization goals and
objectives. preparedness program should include staff to address
public safety through phone, messages to make the people aware
before the incidence occur. Preparedness program should include
training about first aid kit service that provided to the first
three to four minutes, CPR training, equipment training, insurance
availability, employee safety. employees training with people in
different conditions and its symptoms, the culture of workplace
safety to detect the accidents spot before happens, a web-based
membership program can improve the continuity planning for staff.
Fire drills training should be held twice a year at least for the
employees. The manager should drive the plan and play a key role in
public safety, management, planning, implementation, and program
improvement.
